where it all began
Jillian and Krzysztof’s paths first crossed during their junior year at Texas A&M University, in one of the many marketing classes they shared. But it wasn’t until February 2020, just weeks before the world turned upside down, that their story truly began.
Amid the uncertainty of a looming pandemic, an unexpected spark bloomed. What began as a friendship between classmates quickly turned into something deeper. While the world stood still, their hearts moved closer, turning a spark into something lasting and true.
The proposal
After five years of love, growth, and navigating life’s challenges together, Krzysztof knew there was no one else he wanted to spend forever with. The timing felt right to begin the next chapter of their love story.
Wanting the moment to be meaningful, he chose a place tied to one of their earliest memories together: the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. Under the guise of meeting friends for dinner, he suggested they stop by the museum first and head up to the rooftop garden for a bit.
As they stepped into the rooftop garden overlooking the city, emotions began to take over. And when Krzysztof got down on one knee, Jillian was overjoyed. There was no hesitation — she said YES!
But Krzysztof still had one final surprise waiting. After the proposal, he brought Jillian to City Orchard, where she was greeted by the smiling faces of their closest friends and family, all waiting to celebrate alongside them. It was the perfect ending to a moment they would never forget.
Fast forward to
After graduation, Jillian and Krzysztof both found their way back home to Houston, where they began building their careers in the fast-paced world of digital marketing. What started as shared ambitions quickly evolved into a true partnership – balancing creativity, late nights, big ideas, and every milestone in between.
In the familiarity of their hometown, their relationship deepened as they built a life side by side. Together, they cultivated lasting friendships, supported one another through the challenges and milestones of early adulthood, and became woven into each other’s families in a way that felt effortless and natural.
Along the way, they traveled both across the U.S. and abroad, creating unforgettable memories together. They also became proud cat parents to their beloved cats, Theodore and Gatsby, who quickly became the center of their world and the heart of their home.
The Next chapter
We are beyond excited to begin this journey into marriage together and feel incredibly grateful for the love and support that has surrounded us every step of the way. From lifelong friends to family near and far, we truly could not have made it here without the people who have encouraged, celebrated, and stood beside us through every season of life.
